Social Issues in Education


Fellow educators, there are many issues in education that socially impact our children, parents, achievement, teachers, the school at large, and the community itself. Your team will choose one of the preselected educational issues and create a presentation to present the rest of the teams.

*THIS WILL BE YOUR MIDTERM GRADE

Remember, a school issue is a societal issue, and if our schools do not improve, neither will our society. Your presentation should include:


The Paper and Poster
(Paper, 12 inch font, Times New Roman, min 2 pages including the below components)

-The facts of the social issue, including a synopsis of the social issue (cite current research/statistics)

-Discuss both positive and negative effects resulting from the social issue, or resulting from not having the issue (if negative).

-Create achieveable solutions. How do you address the problem, how do you fix the problem?
